Frontend Developer
Remote

Mockchain
United Kingdom

Posted by JobCompass on behalf of one of our clients. This is a full-time, remote role with an async culture. You’ll be the first dedicated frontend hire and will own the UI end-to-end for a next-gen Web3 developer platform.

Candidates need to be based in UK or Europe.

About the client

Our client is building high-fidelity smart-contract testing infrastructure. Their private test environment replays real mainnet activity so teams can validate contracts against realistic scenarios before deployment. They currently focus on EVM chains.

What you’ll do

  • Design and ship intuitive UIs for developer tools that display on-chain data and interact with EVM blockchains.
  • Lead the frontend roadmap and standards as the first frontend hire (own the stack, DX, and component library).
  • Collaborate closely with product and backend to translate problem statements into simple, fast workflows.

Tech you’ll use

  • Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript as your daily toolkit.
  • Web3/EVM libraries and APIs as needed to read/write chain data.

What makes you a great fit

  • 3+ years building React frontends for blockchain/dapp products.
  • Proficiency with Next.js, Tailwind, and TypeScript.
  • You thrive in fast-moving, ownership-heavy environments and solve problems independently.

Bonus points

  • Experience with developer tools or analytics platforms in Web3.
  • Familiarity with the smart-contract development lifecycle (testing, staging, deployment).
  • Solid understanding of Ethereum/EVM and how dapps talk to chains.

Why join

  • Competitive salary + equity.
  • Fully remote, asynchronous work—measured by outcomes, not hours.
  • High product impact, feature ownership, and a chance to shape a platform used by Web3 engineers.
